I Should Never Have Bought…
About a year ago I purchased the Apple iPod Remote to use for my iPod Mini sold at the RRP of £35, it started it off well there was only one flaw the remote cable was as long as the head phones so I had a lot of loose cable which I didn’t know what to do with, then after a few times of use I started to notice that a remote for the iPod wasn’t the best idea. With the iPod u can carry more music around giving u a bigger choice so when you wanted to change the album you were listening to u had to get it out any way so it didn’t have the same effect as the Sony Walkman remote were u jus flicked through one or two CD’s all day.
The design of the iPod Remote was up to standard with the Apple collection and fitted well with the iPod Photo at the time with the chrome cover but it was still recommended for the iPod Mini. After a few months the worst thing started to happen the cable connection started to fray and I had to move it around to stop it crackling. This continued to proceed and I finally had had enough and was disappointed with the design by Apple. The overall concept of a remote didn’t work for the iPod and know there isn’t one which goes to show how good it really was if they didn’t decide to carry on with the design.
Now the iPod Remote sits in the wardrobe with no purpose because the new iPod’s don’t have the earphone socket for it.

Excellent George, well done. Pity you didn't analyse the need for this remote before you bought it. Same goes for Apple by the sound of it as well.
